Ageless Yoga

During class you may hear the teacher say words that don't sound like English.
It is likely a posture name being said in Sanskrit.
And it might sound like the names have a consistently similar ending.
Examples.
Ardha-chandrasana (half moon pose)
Utkatasana (awkward pose)
Garurasana (eagle pose)
Asana gets the translation of "posture" or "pose."
Although Yoga may have intended posture to be a seated pose used for pranayama and meditation, postures nowadays also have many health benefits.
